The mission of the Crisfield Heritage Foundation is to preserve the heritage of Crisfield and its environs; to educate the public concerning this heritage; and to serve as the central hub around which tourism in the Crisfield area revolves.
The Crisfield Heritage Foundation is your link to discovering and learning about the history and heritage of a city that is at the heart of the Chesapeake Bay culture.

We also operate the Gift Shop at the Tawes Museum. Many of the items sold reflect the heritage and culture of the area. Local artists are invited to consign their work, including prints, original paintings and carvings. The gift shop also houses the largest selection of regional books in the area.
